  19. He just said it was totally bugged out. The operative word is "was".
  20. The demand for IBrowse 0.81 reached limits we hadn't see before, and
  21. the ftp server was crashing every 20 minutes (roughly). Other
  22. commitments - and the problems of fetching kernel source over a loaded
  23. line :-( meant it stayed that way until a bit after noon March 22, at
  24. which time a new kernel with several static internal table sizes
  25. increased was installed. It's been stable since. The connection still
  26. gets pretty crowded (and if you're bummed about it, think about how I
  27. feel, with that line to go through on matter WHAT site I'm connecting
  28. to!).

  30. Basically, try the ftp site again. And be thankfull that your
  31. preferred platform doesn't HAVE silly things like statically allocated
  32. tables deep in the heart of the OS.
